This will allow us to explore several fun techniques: wet-on-wet washes, dry brush, spattering, masquing and pencil renderings. We will develop a strong contrast between the rich redness of the distant rock formations against the cool green foreground foliage.
We will create 8 x 10" compositions on stretched watercolor paper. Students are allowed to trace the images onto the surface using transfer paper that is supplied. The instructor will guide you step-by-step through the entire composition.
